Category : events, Parsons Sep 17th, 2017

The Curatorial Design Research Lab is pleased to co-host a curatorial walk-through of the upcoming exhibition, “A Working Model of the World” on Friday, September 29th, 4pm. Curator Dr. Lizzie Muller (UNSW Art & Design) will guide visitors through the exhibition and speak to her curatorial process, alongside Jo Law and Glen Hayward, two artists featured in the show. The walk-through is open to current MFA Fine Arts students, CDRL members, and other interested members of the public.

“A Working Model of the World”, which opens the previous night, explores the human impulse to model. Featured artists examine the role and potential of models symbolically, practically, and as a mode of material thinking. The exhibition will be up in the Sheila Johnson Design Center Kellen Gallery through December 13, 2017.
