Agnes is currently a doctoral student in sociology and graduate instructor of art history and museum studies courses at The New School. Her main research interests are professionalization of artists, sharing and solidarity economies in the art world, and aesthetic evaluation practices of curators. Between 2007 and 2011 she was the project assistant of the Budapest-based tranzit. hu contemporary art initiative, organizing the Free School for Art Theory and Practice seminars, the Periferic 8 Biennial in Iasi, Romania, assisting artists, managing and participating in international collaborative research projects such as Art Always Has Its Consequences. Between 2012 and 2013 she worked as an archivist at the Vera List Center for Art and Politics, and is currently an archivist assistant at the New School Archives and Special Collections. She is a member of the art collective BFAMFAPhD.
