Art is predictable, somewhere between species and genus. While it may be subject, it is not substance where it is present. Substance, it would seem, is no longer of particular interest to an increasing number of curators who prefer to explore the secondary realm or beyond rather than the concrete. This epistemological viewpoint with its a priori use of reason devoid of intuition or any rigorous use of empiricism renders Art a meaningless catch all for any activity designated as such. I walk and return to find myself yesterday.
