Eugene Lang College’s Practicing Curating class presents Still Working?, an exhibition which shows the distinction between work and play. Set in the innovative home of the New School offices, this show enacts the very hybrid state it puts into question.

At the New School, students are encouraged to fuse their academic and personal passions, facilitating the development of a well-rounded student identity. It encourages a human-centered approach to working and playing. In such a progressive work environment, the New School contextualizes academics by taking students out of the classroom and putting them in the city. Students in New York City merge school, art and social elements, applying practical and theoretical knowledge to their experiences, which enables them to better understand the world and improve conditions for local and global communities.
